Today we celebrated the Solemnity of Pentecost and no work was scheduled in the Chapter auditorium. 

Best wish­es went to Fri­ar Jerzy NOREL from the Province of St. Max­i­m­il­ian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gdańsk) and Fri­ar Tadeusz BRZOZOWSKI from the new­ly erect­ed Province of St. Fran­cis of Assisi in Kenya, for their twen­ty-nine years of priest­hood. Best wish­es went as well to Fri­ar Mar­co TASCA, the out­go­ing Min­is­ter Gen­er­al, on his 62^nd birth­day, and to Fri­ar Adam SALOMON, the Provin­cial Del­e­gate in Ger­many of the Province of the Immac­u­late Moth­er of God in Poland (War­saw), for his 60^th birthday.
In the after­noon, the Capit­u­lars were trans­port­ed to the Basil­i­ca of St. Fran­cis, in Assisi, where they cel­e­brat­ed Mass at 6:00 p.m. The Mass was presided over by His Emi­nence João Car­di­nal Bráz de Aviz, Pre­fect of the Con­gre­ga­tion for Insti­tutes of Con­se­crat­ed Life and Soci­eties of Apos­tolic Life.

We ask for the strength of the Holy Spir­it, so that the new Gov­ern­ment of the Order may know how to hear the Word of God and read the signs of the times.
