Today we saw the presentation in the Chapter Hall and then discussion in the mixed Coetuses of two topics contained in the Instrumentum Laboris: the proposal of revising the current configuration of the General Custody of Assisi and the proposal to restructure the Italian Provinces.  Given the delicate nature of both topics and the consequences of any decisions made here, the analysis of the topics took up the entire day’s work.

Discussion of these themes will carry on tomorrow.  After dinner we had a moment of recreation, which was particularly characterized by the celebration of the birthday of the Minister General, Fr. Marco Tasca, who turns 50 tomorrow.  Ad multos annos!
