In March 2006, the Minister General with the consent of the General Definitory, appointed the following friars to be members of the Preparatory Commission of the General Chapter

fr. Tadeusz Świątkowski, Secretary General for Missionary Animation
fr. Vincenzo Marcoli, Member of the General Secretariate for Missionary Animation

The role of the Commission was to prepare and to present to the General Definitory the Instrumentum laboris (Working document) and to organize the celebration of the General Chapter according to the directives of the General Definitory.
