On invitation by the Steering Committee, the Chapter welcomed for a second time the Guardian, Rector of the International College and the President of the Theological Faculty of the Seraphicum, being Frs. Domenico Paoletti, Jorge Peixoto and Zdzislaw Kijas, to talk at some length about the Seraphicum.  After a brief presentation by friar Domenico Paoletti there was time set aside for questions by the Capitulars, to which all three were able to respond.  This debate took up the whole morning’s session.

During the afternoon the Capitulars again came to the Chapter hall to vote on several motions, some from the Instrumentum Laboris, others new motions by the Steering Committee.  The themes were as follows: makeup of the International Finance Committee; Sacred Convent of Assisi; clarification of the juridical relationship between the Order and the M.I.; list of auditors to participate in the General Chapter; decisions regarding economic administration in the Constitutions.
